SCOTT CITY - Larry James Forhan, 57, died Feb. 14, 2003, at his residence in Scott City.

Born Dec. 16, 1945, in Blytheville, Ark., to Bonnie Beatrice Hudson Kamler of Scott City and the late Carl Emmitt Forhan, he was self-employed as a computer consultant. From 1992 through 1996 he served as the mayor of Scott City.

On Nov. 24, 1982 at Cape Girardeau, he married Mary Carolyn Arnold, who preceded him in death on July 21, 2000.

Survivors in addition to his mother include: three sons, Carl Forhan of Rochester, Minn., Eric Forhan of Scott City and Patrick Forhan of Bloomsdale; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City with the Rev. Rennie Phillips officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
