Bill Robbins
LILBOURN - William Mudd "Bill" Robbins, 53, died at 7:20 p.m. Oct. 27, 2002, at his home.
Born June 9, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, son of the late Felix Monroe and Blanche Mudd Robbins Jr., he was a truck driver or MCT Transport. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and American Legion Post 595 in New Madrid.
On Nov. 22, 1982, in Memphis, Tenn., he married Teresa Turner who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Mary Johnna Robbins and Mary Jo Lynn Robbins of Lilbourn; five brothers, Felix M. "Robbie" Robbins of Fort Smith, Ark., John Robbins of Little Rock, Ark., Jim Robbins and Jere Robbins of New Madrid and Gene Robbins of Tulsa, Okla.; three sisters, Martha Bowman of Oakmont, Pa., Mary Ellen Robbins of Memphis and Dorothy Poynor of Columbus, Ind.; and one grandson.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid, where a rosary recitation is scheduled for 7 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Monsignor Michael Swalina officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery at New Madrid.
His brothers will serve as pallbearers.
