CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Ted and Debbie Coalter have announced the engagement of their daughter, Laura Renee, to Steven Chad Parker, son of Steve and Carrie Parker of Sikeston.
A 1999 graduate of Cape Central High School, the future bride graduated in 2004 from Southeast Missouri State University with a bachelor's degree in health management and marketing. She is a member of Alpha Delta Pi and is employed by Enterprise Rent-a-Car.
The prospective bridegroom graduated in 1999 from New Madrid County Central High School and will graduate in May with a bachelor's degree in integrated marketing communications from Southeast Missouri State University. He is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha and is pursing a career in agriculture.
Wedding plans are being finalized for a March 26 ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church in Cape Girardeau.
