DYERSBURG, Tenn. -- Mr. and Mrs. James William Tarr II have announced the engagement of their daughter, Staci Renee, to Floyd Robert Sims, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Straw of Sikeston and the late James Sims.
A 1999 graduate of Dyersburg High School, the future bride is a 2002 graduate of the University of Tennessee-Martin, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in marketing.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Sikeston High School. He graduated in 2001 from the University of Tennessee-Martin with a bachelor of arts degree in communications.
The couple will exchange wedding vows in a 5 p.m. ceremony April 5 at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Dyersburg.
