Clifton West

PORTAGEVILLE -- Clifton Lee West, 60, died Feb. 28, 2003, at his home.

Born July 22, 1942, in Catron, he was the son of the late R.D. and Lucille Lee West.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Regionald and Brenda West of Portageville; two daughters and one son-in-law, Patricia Hampton and Kimberly and Clyde Nolen of Portageville; five sisters, Erma Borders and Josephine Sanders of St. Louis, Earnestine Steward of South Bend, Ind., Saundra Kirby of Chicago, Ill., and Fallon Garmon of Portageville; his stepbrother, James Faulkner of Chicago; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and his former wife, Elizabeth West.

He was preceded in death by one son, Stanley West; a sister, Christine Mabine; and stepsister, Dorothy Mae Steward.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Portageville until service time at 2 p.m. Elder Regionald Grant will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Catron Cemetery.
