SIKESTON -- Mike and Jennifer Moseley have announced the engagement of their daughter, Penny Michelle, to William Kyle DeKriek, son of Rene and LaDona DeKriek of Sikeston.
The future bride is employed by Applebee's. She is the granddaughter of Ben Slaten of Scott City and the late Francis Slaten.
A graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, the prospective bridegroom is self-employed by Flyway Hunting Club. He is the grandson of J.B. Benson of East Prairie and the late Goldia Benson.
Plans are under way for a May 17 wedding.
