Cricket Young

SAN ANTONIO - Cricket Young, 74, died March 2, 2003, following an extended illness.

Born June 17, 1928, in New Madrid, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Georgia Cline.

Her husband, Joe Young, survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and John Thompson of Bulverde; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Rosemary and Homer Trigg Sr. and Elaine and Howard Stafford of Missouri; two granddaughters and a grandson-in-law, Amy Jo and Jeff Bupp of Cibolo and Michelle Thompson of Dallas; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Jack and Emilie Fennell of Australia; two great-grandchildren, Ashley Bupp and Alyssa Bupp; nieces and nephews; and special friends, Bob and Lou Harbour.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Porter Loring Funeral Home in San Antonio.

Services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Wincrest United Methodist Church. The Rev. Greg Hackett and the Rev. Ray Davis will officiate.

Burial will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
