David Ward

TROY -- David Robert Ward, son of Kindel and Jennifer Candice "Candy" Ward, died at birth Oct. 20, 2002, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include: one brother, Andrew Ward of the home; one sister, Grace Ward of the home; maternal grandparents, Don and Marilyn Barnes and Don and Connie Reimann of Sikeston; paternal grandparents, Lindel and Janice Ward of Zalma; maternal great-grandparents, Billy and Jerry Lewis of Sikeston, Bernice Barnes of Canalou and Walter and Mary Reimann of McClure, Ill.; and his paternal great-grandmother, Jewell French of Poplar Bluff.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Robert and Grace Schuchart and Paul E. Barnes Sr.; and his paternal great-grandparents, Guy and Ethel Ward and Edward French.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. today until service time at 2 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. Rick Lasley, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church of Sikeston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be: David Markham and Dewey Heppe.
