David Stephens

STURDIVANT -- David B. Stephens, 56, died Jan. 31, 2003, from injuries sustained during a fire in his home.

Born Jan. 30, 1947, at Brownwood, he was a pipe fitter and had spent most of his life in the Advance community.

In 1991, he married Jannett Sneed who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Douglas Stephens of Osceola, Ark., and Owen Stephens of the U.S. Air Force; one brother, Doug Stephens of Zalma; one sister, Jeannie Pettit of Perkins; and three grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
