Lorene Bell
CHAFFEE - Lorene Bell, 70, died at 12:40 p.m. Feb. 26, 2003, at her home.
Born March 28, 1932, in Chaffee, daughter of the late B. and Laura Ross Walton, she retired as a machine operator for Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee and Cape Girardeau. She was a member of the Northside Gospel Assembly Church in Cape Girardeau.
On Jan. 20, 1996, she married Henry E. Bell who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Kenneth Finley and Danny Finley of Chaffee; one daughter, Carolyn Messan of Florissant; three stepdaughters, Canda Russell of Memphis, Tenn., Deborah Christian of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Theresa Cleveland of Iuka, Miss.; two brothers, Ted Walton of Jackson and Elgin Walton of Rockview; four sisters, Clara Harmon of Chaffee, Ethel Cluster of Granite City, Ill., Gladys Dees of Kansas City and her twin sister, Myra Jean Mouser of Morley; and four grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Nine brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
Visitation begins at 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Winford Wren and the Rev. Bobby Mouser will officiate.
Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Tim Bell, Allen Parker, Truman Mouser, Les Sladek, Clyde Quick and Eddie Mouser.
