Nell Nunn

GODFREY, Ill. - Nell M. Nunn, 69, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2003, at Alton Memorial Hospital.

Born Jan. 9, 1934, in East Prairie, Mo., daughter of the late Jasper Lee and Lunar Irene Narris Tinnon, she was a member of the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Godfrey.

On Jan. 19, 1950, she married Bill Nunn, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two daughters and one son in-law, Sharon and Joseph Wyatt and Debbie Kelley of Alton; one sister, Wanda Grigsby of Montgomery, Ala.; and one brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Elizabeth Tinnon of East Prairie; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Michael Nunn; and two brothers, Adrian Tinnon and J.L. Tinnon.

Services were conducted Wednesday at the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Godfrey.

Burial followed in Valhalla Memorial Park in Godfrey.

Elias-Smith Funeral Home and Crematory of Godfrey was in charge of arrangements.
