PARMA - Bill Hardesty, 76, died Feb. 25, 2003, at Three Rivers Healthcare North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
Born July 18, 1926, in Charleston, son of the late Harry and Mary F. Farmer Hardesty, he lived in Parma all his life. He was a retired truck driver, veteran of the U.S. Navy and member of Grace Lutheran Church in Malden and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
On April 6, 1947, in Sikeston, he married Betty Meier who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Terry Hardesty and Larry Hardesty of Parma; two daughters, Mary Frances Hardesty and Barbara Brannon of Parma; two sisters, Eleanor Walker of Rodgers, Ark., and Helen Clendenin of St. Louis; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. William MacGregor of Bertrand will officiate.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
