Flora Young

DEXTER - Flora Belle Young, 90, formerly of Caruthersville, died Nov. 24, 2002, at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dexter.

Born Sept. 4, 1912, in Bernie, daughter of the late James Franklin and Lydia Ellen Mann Young, she was of the Southern Baptist belief.

Survivors include: one sister, Mary L. Churchill of Caruthersville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert Young, LeRoy Young, John D. Young and Everette F. Young; and two sisters, Arcadia Katie Lindsay and Lora Cross.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. Tuesday until service time at 2:30 p.m. at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie with the Rev. Don Wells, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
