Cecil Halford

ORAN - Cecil Myra Halford, 84, died Oct. 26, 2002, at her home.

Born Feb. 15, 1918, at Commerce, daughter of the late Robert and Viola Mansker Brotherton, she was a member of the Bell City United Methodist Church.

On Dec. 4, 1936, in New Madrid County, she married Waymon Halford who preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1996.

Survivors include: one son, Norman Halford of Oran; one daughter, Margaret A. Kinder of Oran; one brother, James Brotherton of Kewanee; and six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Gary Waymon Halford, and five brothers.

Visitation is from 9 a.m. Tuesday until service time at 11 a.m. at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance. The Rev. Linda Zych will officiate.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
