Lindy Williams

KANSAS CITY - Lindy Joe Williams, 74, formerly of Lilbourn, died May 17, 2002, at the Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

Born Sept. 2, 1927, in Sylamore, Ark., he was a Provost member of the Ararat Shrine Temple.

On Dec. 24, 1953, he married Liz Beavers who preceded him in death.

Survivors include: two daughters, Nancy Williams of Florida and Stacy Crawford of Raytown; one sister, Linda Stewart of Arkansas; one brother, Eddie Williams of Alabama; and one granddaughter, Brittany Crawford of Raytown.

He was also preceded in death by one sister, Ruby Williams; and one brother, Jack Williams.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
