Zella Story
WARNER ROBINS, Ga. - Zella Lois Story, 84, formerly of Chaffee and St. Louis, Mo., died Feb. 24, 2003, at her home.
Born in Blodgett, Mo., daughter of the late Oda and Zora Wagoner Felty, she lived her early years in Chaffee and Oran, Mo., before moving to St. Louis, where she worked as a shoemaker most of her life. She returned to Chaffee in 1996 and later moved to Warner Robins, where she was a member of the International City Church of God.
Her husband, Everett N. Story, preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Barbara Story of Warner Robins; two grandchildren, Laura Blatterman and Jillian Story of Warner Robins; and several nieces and nephews.
Three brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau, Mo. The Rev. Larry Davis, pastor of Trinity Gospel Church in Sikeston, Mo., will officiate.
