J.C. Henderson

BERRYVILLE, Ark. - J.C. Henderson, 75, formerly of Charleston, Mo., died at 5:20 a.m. Feb. 21, 2003, at the Beverly Healthcare Facility in Malden, Mo.

Born June 29, 1927, in Marston, Mo., son of the late Eli and Dora Stephens Henderson, he lived many years in Charleston where he was employed by the Enterprise Courier until retiring. Following his retirement he moved to Memphis, Tenn., where he was a member of the First Baptist Church.

On Oct. 1, 1946, he married Betty Lou Sullivan who preceded him in death on Nov. 5, 1994.

One sister also preceded him in death.

He is survived by one daughter, Claudia Gage of Malden; and two grandchildren, Kristi Gage and Tim Gage II of Malden.

Relatives and friends will assemble for graveside services at 11 a.m. Monday at the IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.

McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston is in charge of arrangements.
