LILBOURN -- Jason Lee Tope, 17, died Nov. 9, 2002, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born Jan. 19, 1985, at Sikeston, son of Tracy Tope of Lilbourn and Gina Fincher of New Madrid, he was a junior at New Madrid County Central High School and a member of the First Baptist Church in Lilbourn.
In addition to his parents, survivors include: one brother, Justin Tope of New Madrid; one sister, Heather Tope of Cape Girardeau; paternal grandparents, Ralph and Maxine Tope Jr. of Lilbourn; maternal grandparents, Janet and H.G. Scrogg Rhodes of New Madrid; maternal great-grandmother, Lucille Frala of Lilbourn; and aunts and uncles, Tony and Rita Tope of Cordova, Tenn., and Sheri and Robert Burton, Lori and Skipper Harris and Robin Fincher of New Madrid.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Lilbourn, where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Don Stephens, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Mounds Cemetery.
