Lena Fulkerson
DEXTER - Lena Fulkerson, 91, died Nov. 6, 2002, at Cypress Point Healthcare.
Born Feb. 8, 1911, in Sikeston, daughter of the late Edward W. and Olive Taylor Bean, she was a member of the Dexter Church of Christ. She worked at Elder Manufacturing before retiring.
On Dec. 1, 1928, in Benton, she married Claude N. Fulkerson who preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 1986.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Mildred and James Miller of Dexter; one brother, Wallace G. Bean of Dexter; two sisters, Betty Rowland of Dexter and Ruth Kee of St. Louis; and three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Audrey Fulkerson and Lora Bean; and two brothers, Lyman Bean and Wade Bean.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Dale Grissom and Mark Stidham will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
