Lavonna Gammon
CAPE GIRARDEAU - Lavonna Jean Gammon, 53, died at 5 p.m. Nov. 7, 2002, at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Tulsa, Okla.
Born July 13, 1949, in Bonne Terre, daughter of Charles Robert and Nettie Louise Shelton Wade of Rolla, she was a clerical worker for Soskin Cape Toyota. She was a member of Eagles Auxiliary 3775 and VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Cape Girardeau and American Legion in Jackson.
On Jan. 9, 1998, in Cape Girardeau, she married Ronald Lee Gammon who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to her husband and parents include: three sons, Wade Holloway of Benton, Adam Holloway of Fruitland and Bryan Gammon of Jackson; one daughter, Ronda Ladd of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Donna Fiebelman of Salem and Tracy Walker of Rolla; and seven grandchildren.
One brother preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. William Marshall will officiate.
Burial will follow in the New Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
