Daisy Holder

SCOTT CITY -- Daisy Ethyl Holder, 86, died at 12:20 p.m. July 1, 2002, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

Born May 12, 1916, at Bell City, daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Jones Dodson, she was a homemaker.

On Dec. 10, 1932, she married David Everett Holder who preceded her in death on Sept. 26, 1985.

Survivors include: one son, Everett Holder of Scott City; and five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, one brother, three sisters and one great-grandchild.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, with her granddaughter, the Rev. Carol Swartos, officiating.

Burial will follow in Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
