CAPE GIRARDEAU - June Aleta Moore, 87, died June 30, 2002, at the Ratliff Care Center.

Born Dec. 24, 1914, at Kime, daughter of the late Matthew Forrest and Dora Bell Berry Rhodes, she was a waitress at Wimpy's Drive-In and at the Cape Airport and was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church and Whitewater Eastern Star Chapter 174.

She married E.N. "Ned" Moore who preceded her in death Feb. 29, 2000.

Also preceding her in death were one brother and two sisters.

Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Freda and Marvin Ackman of Florissant and Mary Bell and Bob Moore of Scott City; and two grandsons, two granddaughters and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City where an Eastern Star service is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Tommy Miller officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
