Josh Jimerson
NEW MADRID - Joshua Cody "Josh" Jimerson, 24, died Feb. 7, 2003, in New Madrid.
Born Sept. 28, 1978, in Hayti, son of Ronnie and Loretta Beaher Jimerson of New Madrid, he graduated in 1996 from New Madrid County Central High School, where he participated in football and baseball. He was a construction worker and member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Madrid Eagles Aerie 4206 and Iron Workers Local 469 of Jackson, Miss.
Survivors in addition to his parents include: one brother and sister-in-law, Paul McCane and Shannon Swain Jimerson of Sikeston; his maternal grandmother, Helen Beaher of New Madrid; and his fiancee, Lynn "Pocket" Frazier of New Madrid.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Julius "Cub" Beaher; and his paternal grandparents, E.J. "Bob" and Margaret Jimerson.
Visitation begins at 4 p.m. today at Richards Funeral Home, where a rosary is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Monsignor Mike Swalina officiating.
Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
