Syble Burnett

PARMA - Syble Burnett, 92, died Nov. 26, 2002, at the Malden Nursing Center.

Born Nov. 19, 1910, in Enola, Ark., daughter of the late Joab and Mary Ellen Thompson, she lived in Parma for 63 years and was a homemaker.

On Oct. 20, 1930, in Lonoke County, Ark., she married John T. Burnett who preceded her in death on March 6, 1982.

Survivors include: two sons, John Elwood Burnett of Campbell and Richard Curtis Burnett of Parma; five daughters, Mary Ann Marshall of Gladewater, Texas, Martha Gene Burnett and Vesta Louise Burnett of St. Louis, Beulah Grace Lottes of Salisbury, N.C., and Patsy Ellen Larson of Imperial; and 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were conducted Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden. The Rev. Gene Lancaster of Malden officiated.

Watkins and Sons Funeral Home of Parma was in charge of arrangements.
