DELTA - Gladys Marshall Wooldridge, 85, died at 5:30 a.m. Nov. 28, 2002, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
Born Sept. 19, 1917, near Mayfield, son of the late Franklin Sylvester and Julia Olga Mayfield Wooldridge, he retired as a self-employed farmer. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Delta where he served as secretary for 43 years.
On Nov. 6, 1939, he married Veona Moore who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: three sons, Gilbert Wooldridge of Cape Girardeau, William Wooldridge of Florissant and Ron Wooldridge of Delta; one brother, Harold Wooldridge of Benton; and five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Eric Hodge will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Caney Fork Cemetery near Oak Ridge.
