Skip Henry

PORTAGEVILLE - Russell "Skip" Henry, 66, formerly of East Prairie, died Nov. 21, 2002, at his home.

Born June 26, 1936, in Wolf Island, son of Esther Forrester Henry of East Prairie and the late James R. Henry, he retired as supervisor of the Missouri Department of Transportation Portageville office.

On March 27, 1962, in Charleston, he married Patricia Ann Ferguson who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: one son, Stanley R. Henry of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, Curtis Henry of East Prairie and Richard Henry of Charleston; five sisters, Helen Poe, Audrey Furgerson, Eunice Henry and Justine Henry of East Prairie and Judy Western of Sikeston; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Lawrence Henry.

Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Burial will follow.
