Steve Speakman
SCOTT CITY - Steve Wayne Speakman, 43, died at 12:20 p.m. Oct. 26, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born Sept. 24, 1959, in Dallas, Texas, son of the late William Lonnie and Ruby Lucille McKinney Speakman II, he graduated from Stage One Hair School and had been employed as a hair stylist.
Survivors include: one daughter, Rosa L. Speakman of Jonesboro, Ark.; three brothers, Rick Speakman and Kenny Speakman of Scott City and Bob Broadhacker of Panama City, Fla.; two sisters, Wilma Stevens of Scott City and Rita Kay Tate of Las Vegas, Nev.; and his fiancee, Rose Speakman of Scott City.
He was preceded in death by one brother, William Lonnie Speakman.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Rennie Phillips, officiating.
Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery at Scott City.
