Myra Ransburgh

MEMPHIS -- Myra F. Ransburgh, 97, formerly of Portageville, Mo., died Jan. 24, 2003, at the Methodist Lebohner Hospital in Germantown.

Born Dec. 4, 1905, at Hickman, Ky., daughter of the late Myra Robbins and Alexander Allan Faris Jr., she was a housewife.

On Nov. 18. 1926, she married June C. Ransburgh who preceded her in death in 1987.

Two sons, June Alexander Ransburgh and Richard Faris Ransburgh, also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: four grandchildren, Sarah R. Williams and Christopher G. Ransburgh of Memphis, June Perry of Scandia, Minn., and Allan Bruce Ransburgh of West Plains, Mo.; and nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services were conducted Saturday at Evergreen Cemetery.

Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid, Mo., was in charge of arrangements.
