Dorothy Foister

MORLEY - Dorothy Nell Foister, 83, died at 1 p.m. Jan. 22, 2003, at the Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

Born July 29, 1919, in Morley, daughter of the late Albert and Martha Ella Ragland Parker, she was a member of the Morley Baptist Church.

On Oct. 17, 1939, she married George Willis Foister who preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 1978.

Survivors include: two daughters, Martha Lou Pease and Shea Stafford of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Alfred Parker of Huntington, W.Va.; one sister, Ada Johnson of St. Louis; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Two brothers and two sisters also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Jim Matthews will officiate.

Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery.
