Ann Groseclose

CHAFFEE - Ann Groseclose, 78, died at 8:55 p.m. Dec. 16, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born May 9, 1924, in Mansfield, daughter of the late Ira and Lola Pope Brazeal, she was a member of the First Baptist Church and VFW Post 3127 Ladies Auxiliary in Chaffee.

On June 14, 1947, she married Merlin Heeb who preceded her in death on July 9, 1983.

She and J.W. Groseclose were married Jan. 1, 1987, and he survives of the home.

Other survivors include: four sons, Larry Heeb of Lodi, Wis., Dan Heeb of Chaffee, Tom Heeb of Columbia, Md., and Jay Heeb of Mountain View, Calif.; one sister, Mary Schrader of Cape Girardeau; and eight grandchildren.

Six brothers also preceded her in death.

Visitation begins at 4 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Marty Blakey officiating.

Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.

Pallbearers will be: Larry Heeb, Dan Heeb, Tom Heeb, Jay Heeb and John Dale Heeb.
