Mary Nunnelee

SIKESTON - Mary Jane Smith Nunnelee, 64, died Jan. 13, 2003, at her home.

Born Sept. 23, 1938, in Lilbourn, daughter of the late James Howard and Martha Lucille Campbell Ward, she was of the Baptist belief and was a front desk clerk for the Best Western Coach House Inn before retiring.

Survivors include: one son, Michael Craig Smith of Sikeston; one daughter, Shannon Renee Welker of Sikeston; and four grandchildren, Adam Lee Kuykendall, Michael Andrew Kuykendall, Christopher Michael Smith and Elizabeth Michelle Smith of Sikeston.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Bob Ward.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Lee Fansler, pastor of the Blodgett Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
