James Carter

SIKESTON - James Ray Carter, 55, died Jan. 2, 2003, at his home.

Born Aug. 31, 1947, in East Prairie, son of the late Elzie and Ethel Mae Kilgo Carter, he was a member of the Miner Baptist Church.

Survivors include: five brothers, Junior Carter of Missouri, Wesley Carter, Charlie Carter and Steven Carter of Sikeston and Donald Carter of Kentucky; and two sisters, Ethel Louise Urby and Geraldine Willis of East Prairie.

One brother, J.W. Carter, preceded him in death.

No services are scheduled.
