Your View 12/17: Thanks for help

The Christmas Angels chili dinner is a wonderful event that helps the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) Southeast District provide Christmas gifts for many children who otherwise wouldn't receive anything.

MoDOT employees used their vacation time to contact local businesses and sell cups of chili. They prepared and delivered the chili to these businesses and money raised from the project was used to buy gifts for 117 children this year.

This is the 16th year that MoDOT's Southeast District has made the Christmas dreams and wishes of many children come true. We hope to continue spreading that magic in the lives of area kids for years to come, but it takes volunteers.

This program is about the faith, love and joy of giving. We can do good, but it takes many to make it happen. The following are responsible for the great success of the 16th Annual Christmas Angel Chili Dinner:
