Ramsey-Ryfa

NEW MADRID -- Gene and Sara Ramsey have announced the engagement of their daughter, Heather, to Garett Ryfa, son of Patricia and Frank Ryfa of Amsterdam, N.Y.

The future bride graduated in 1993 from New Madrid County Central High School. A 1998 graduate of the University of Georgia, she is currently attending the Georgetown University Law Center.

A 1991 graduate of Broadalbin-Perth High School, the prospective bridegroom graduate in 1995 from the State University of New York - Plattsburgh. He is a technical director for Cable News Network (CNN).

Wedding plans are under way for a March 15, 2003, ceremony.
