Erma Ellinger
SCOTT CITY - Erma Lee Ellinger, 68, died at 3:46 p.m. April 17, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Born April 4, 1934, in Gordonville, daughter of the late Edward and Zelma Summers Eakins, she was a machine operator for Thorngate Ltd. in Chaffee. She was a member of the Broadway United Methodist Church in Scott City.
On Oct. 22, 1954, in Scott City, she married Frank Thomas Ellinger who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Roger Ellinger and Ryan Ellinger of Scott City; three daughters, Cindy Crews of Land O' Lakes, Fla., Lisa Schaefer of Scott City and Karen Asbridge of Chaffee; two brothers, Claude Eakins of Janesville, Wis., and Scott Eakins of Little Rock, Ark.; five sisters, Monola Senn of Scott City, Virgie Kies of Cape Girardeau, Oma Dell Clark of Lindenhurst, Ill., Rosie Dreyer of Frohna and Louella Fiegel of Beebe, Ark.; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Larry Lawman will officiate.
Burial will follow in the German Evangelical Cemetery at Dutchtown.
