Lucille Lowe

SMYRNA, Tenn. - Lucille Lowe, 76, died May 17, 2002, at the Peachtree Center and Rehabilitation Center.

Born May 21, 1925, in Detroit, Mich., daughter of the late Jacob C. and Stella Spalding Ortwein, she was of the Catholic belief.

On Nov. 8, 1956, she married Tommy Lowe who preceded her in death in November 1983.

Survivors include: one sister, Dolly Peach of Henderson., Tenn.; three brothers-in-law, Joe Don Lowe of Bucyrus, Jerry Lowe of Dayton, Texas, and Riley Lowe of Imperial; two sisters-in-law, Nelda Smith of Campbell and Billy Fitzwater of Kennett; and one grandson and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cecilia Lowe, on Oct. 16, 1994; one son, Freddie Lowe, on July 22, 1991; and by two sisters.

Graveside services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Monday at the Dunklin County Memorial Gardens in Kennett with the Rev. Ruth Edwards of Kennett officiating.

Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
