Larry Stockman
METROPOLIS, Ill. - Larry W. Stockman, 57, formerly of East Prairie, Mo., died at 3:30 p.m. May 16, 2002, at Lourde's Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
Born Dec. 16, 1944, in Wolf Island, son of the late William "Bill" and Francis Martin Stockman, he worked for Midland Eastern Enterprises on a river boat until retiring in 2001. He was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include: two stepsons, Jeff Williams and Michael Williams of Paducah; one brother, Wayne Stockman of East Prairie; two sisters, Shirley Hooker of Bulls Gap, Tenn., and Geraldine Owens of East Prairie; and one stepgranddaughter.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Pat Stallings, and one brother.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday. Burl Britt, pastor of the Full Gospel Church in East Prairie, will officiate.
Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Michael Williams, Jeff Williams, Tom Brown, Ronnie Busby, Chad Busby and Jackie Busby.
