Edward Chipp
DEXTER - Edward Chipp, 76, died May 17, 2002, at the Missouri Southern Health Care Hospital.
Born Sept. 6, 1925, in St. Louis, son of the late Joseph and Tillie Kliminsky Chipp, he was a truck driver for Siedel Furniture, a veteran of the U.S. Navy in World War II, and was affiliated with the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dexter
On March 31, 1951, in St. Louis, he married Geraldine Caruana who survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: one son, Chris Chipp of Chesterfield; one daughter, Irene Bestgen of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; one brother, Michael Dickus of Farmington; three sisters, Mary Copple of St. Louis, Patricia Siemer of St. Peters and Helen Bradford of California; and by three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until services begin at 2 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home. Rev. John Sheley will officiate.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12:45 p.m. Monday at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
