Woodie Robinson
SIKESTON - Woodie Robinson, 77, died May 15, 2002, at the Jackson-Madison County Skilled Nursing Center in Jackson, Tenn.
Born Jan. 10, 1925, at Lonoke, Ark., to the late Freddie Love and Callie Robinson, he was a retired farmer.
On Jan. 13, 1943, he married Annie Mae Terry, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include: two daughters, Lynda Davis of St. Louis and Bertha Robinson of Jackson; five sons, Woodie Robinson Jr., Leonard Robinson and the Rev. Larry Robinson of Jackson and Jimmy Robinson and Donald Robinson of St. Louis; and 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four children.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. Saturday until service time at noon at Green Memorial Church of God in Christ in Sikeston. The Rev. Larry Robinson will officiate.
Burial will follow Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
Mercer Brothers Funeral Home of Jackson, Tenn., is in charge of arrangements.
