Wanda Stephens
DEXTER - Wanda Lee Stephens, 80, died Oct. 29, 2002, at Three Rivers Healthcare North Campus in Poplar Bluff.
Born Feb. 5, 1922, in Puxico, daughter of the late Charles and Lora Lee Venable Dailey, she lived in Puxico and Malden before moving to Dexter five years ago, where she was a member of the First General Baptist Church.
On Oct. 15, 1938, she married Norman Crank who preceded her in death on April 9, 1964.
She and Ray E. Stephens were married Jan. 17, 1986, in Dexter and he survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Larry Lee Crank of Puxico; one daughter, Deloris Braswell of Wappapello; one stepson, J.E. Stephens of Scotsdale, Ariz.; one stepdaughter, Narva Young of Poplar Bluff; and four grandchildren, seven stepgrandchildren, six great-grandchildren, several stepgreat-grandchildren and several stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Three sisters and one grandson, Jim Braswell, also preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Kenneth Lambert of Bloomfield and the Rev. Kenneth Biggs of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Puxico Cemetery.
