Coena Uhrhan

CHAFFEE - Coena Uhrhan, 80, died at 9 p.m. May 14, 2002, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.

Born Sept. 15, 1921, in Oran, daughter of the late Edward and Nora Dannenmueller Eichhorn, she retired from the Sports Specialty Shoe Company in Chaffee. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Daughters of St. Ambrose and the VFW Post 3127 Ladies Auxiliary in Chaffee.

On May 30, 1944, she married Paul A. Uhrhan who preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 1995.

Survivors include: one brother, Ervin Eichhorn of Kelso; and one sister, Rose Talley of Chaffee.

Five brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where a prayer service is scheduled for 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating.

Burial will follow in the St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery in Chaffee.
