Susan Friend

SIKESTON - Susan Gayle Friend, 52, died at 10:30 a.m. May 15, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born Feb. 16, 1950, in Sikeston, daughter of Patricia Glass Parmenter of Sikeston and the late Leroy Parmenter, she was a surgical technician at the Ferguson Medical Group and member of Murray Lane Baptist Church.

On May 11, 1979, in Sikeston, she married David G. Friend who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Patrick Noel Miller and Brent Douglas Friend of St. Louis; one daughter, Kristin Leigh Friend of Columbia; and three brothers, Sam Parmenter of Sikeston, Paul Parmenter of St. Louis and Joel Parmenter of Anchorage, Alaska.

Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Blanchard Funeral Chapel.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Garden of Memories Cemetery with her uncle, the Rev. Wiley McGee of Puxico, officiating.
