Mildred Stroud

ST. LOUIS -- Mildred F. Stroud, 77, died May 14, 2002, at St. Louis University Hospital.

Born March 4, 1925, in Parma, daughter of the late Tom and Laura Barnes Woodson, she was a lifelong resident of Morehouse, where she was a member of the Oneness Pentecostal Church.

On July 28, 1943, in New Madrid, she married Lee Stroud who preceded her in death on June 12, 1993.

Survivors include: two sons, Ronnie Stroud and Donnie Stroud of Morehouse; two daughters, Janice Kay Laminack and Brenda J. Sanders of Morehouse; two brothers, Avery Woodson of Morehouse and Richard Woodson of Christmas, Fla.; two sisters, Wanda Copeland of Alabama and Sibyl Wilson of Sikeston; and six grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is at 5 p.m. today at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Frank Breeden of Morehouse, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Essex Cemetery in Essex.
