Glenda Brown
ANNISTON - Glenda Dianne Brown, 49, died at 11 a.m. Feb. 24, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
Born April 17, 1952, in East Prairie, daughter of Ruth Johnson of Matthews and the late Robert Johnson, she lived in Mississippi County most of her life. She was a cook for the East Prairie Nursing Center and of the Pentecostal belief.
On July 25, 1996, she married Dale Brown who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to her husband and mother include: two sons, Bobby Copeland and Joe Copeland of Dexter; one daughter, Donna McGhee of Germany; two stepsons, Eric Brown of East Prairie and Allen Redfering of North Carolina; two stepdaughters, Terrie Sisk and Sandra Wallace of East Prairie; one brother, Robert Johnson III of Matthews; five sisters, Mary Spraggs of Matthews, Louise Young of Palaeious, Texas, Lucille Vaughn and Barbara Landers of Canalou and Theresa Kidd of Sikeston; one stepsister, Pat Farie of California; and 10 grandchildren.
One daughter, Melissa Graham, preceded her in death.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Shelby Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday with David Dowdy, pastor of St. James General Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Winks Chambers, Teddy Hutcheson, Ronnie Moreland, Eddie Hicks, Eric Brown and Craig Cox.
