Leonard Larson
DEXTER - Leonard E. Larson Jr., 65, died Feb. 23, 2002, at Missouri Southern Healthcare.
Born Nov. 24, 1936, in Bertha, Minn., son of Angeline Hosna Carlson of Parkers Praire, Minn., and the late Leonard E. Larson Sr., he retired as a federal meat inspector for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. He served with the U.S. Army in Korea and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Dexter.
On Aug. 5, 1961, at Vandervoort, Ark., he married Leota Daniel who survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to his wife and mother include: one daughter, Ramona Lemons of Dexter; one brother, Thomas D. Larson of Roucerville, Pa.; one sister, Marion Lindsey of Alexandria, Minn.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday with Adam Mueller officiating.
Burial will follow in the Caroline Dowdy Cemetery near Dexter.
