Cathern Earnheart

BRIGHTON, Tenn. - Cathern Ballard Earnheart, 79, died March 4, 2003, at her home.

Born Sept. 22, 1923, in Parma, Mo., daughter of the late John William and Lydia Grace Hughes Seets, she was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Malden, Mo.

On July 4, 1942, she married Edgar Lee Ballard who preceded her in death on March 30, 1976. She later married Alvis Earnheart and he also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: four daughters, Ella Walton of Malden, Glenda Foster of Brighton, Ann Allen of Catron, Mo., and Kathy Neal of Luling, La.; one son, William Ballard of Parkin, Ark.; two sisters, Pearl Brown and Georgia Higgins, addresses unavailable; one brother, Franklin Seets, address unavailable; and 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

One son, Robert Ballard, also preceded her in death.

Services were conducted at 10 a.m. today at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden with the Rev. Dale Shoup officiating.

Burial followed in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
