Rusty Adams
ELLSINORE - Russell D. "Rusty" Adams, 46, formerly of Sikeston, was pronounced at 5:45 p.m. March 6, 2003, near Ellsinore.
Born May 10, 1956, in Dexter, son of the late Eula Smiley Rainey, he was the adopted son of Hershel and Euna Hampton Adams of Camden, Tenn. He had been a self-employed farmer and was of the Pentecostal belief. A musician, Adams had played guitar with several bands in the Southeast Missouri area.
In 1982, in Sikeston, he married Lori A. Elliott who survives.
Survivors in addition to his wife and parents include: three sons, Robert D. Adams and Micah N. Adams of Floyds Knobs, Ind., and Dustin L. Adams of Ellsinore; one daughter, Kathrine Michele Humphrey of Columbia; two half brothers, Gary Minney of Lady Smith, Va., and Tim Smiley of Bloomfield; and one half sister, Kay Herrington of Bernie.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. Monday until service time at 1 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Michael Riordan, pastor of Christ Gospel Pentecostal Church in Camden, Tenn., will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hagy Cemetery at Dexter.
