William Boner

BLOOMFIELD - William Borden Boner, 87, died Feb. 22, 2002, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Born Sept. 10, 1914, in Mulkeytown, Ill., son of the late Harry Ephram and Ola Belle Borden Boner, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and of the Baptist belief.

On Dec. 22, 1937, at Malden, he married Mildred Margaret Dock Boner who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Denson and Mary Ruth Boner of Sikeston and Clifford and Phyllis Sue Boner of Bloomfield; and three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

One brother and two sisters preceded him in death.

Services were conducted at 10 a.m. today at Landess Funeral Home in Malden, with the Rev. Gerald King officiating.

Burial followed in the Hill Cemetery at Bloomfield.
