Glenn Chandler
WHITEWATER - Glenn C. Chandler, 74, died May 24, 2002, at his home.
Born Oct. 12, 1928, in Ironton, son of the late Fred and Minnie Achers Chandler, he was owner and operator of an over-the-road trucking business and of the Baptist belief. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of VFW Post 3838 in Cape Girardeau.
On Jan. 25, 1958, at Hernando, Miss., he married Lorraine L. Rhodes who survives of the home.
He was preceded in death by one son and four brothers.
Other survivors include: two brothers, Grafton Chandler of St. Louis and Kenneth Chandler of Springfield; and one sister, Vernice Jones of St. Louis.
Graveside services were conducted Sunday at the Stroderville Cemetery with the Rev. Phil Berry officiating.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Chaffee was in charge of arrangements.
