Jessie Sauceda
SIKESTON - Jessie Joseph Sauceda, 74, died at 11:55 p.m. April 3, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born Dec. 25, 1927, in Nixon, Texas, son of the late Vidal and Susie Valdex Sauceda Sr., he retired as a farm laborer for Holmes Farms in Oran.
Survivors include: five sons, Robert Guzman of Oran and Anthony Sauceda, Danny Sauceda, Joseph Sauceda and Johnny Sauceda of Sikeston; three daughters, Mary Jane Berry of Conroe, Texas, and Juanita Terry and Josie Sauceda of Sikeston; four brothers, Elisio Sauceda and Alex Sauceda of Oran, Raymond Sauceda of Dexter and Vidal Sauceda Jr. of Bell City; seven sisters, Josephine Moreno of Nixon, Josie Turner and Emma Guzman of Oran, Lupe Freeze and Mary Brown of Holy Springs, Miss., Betty Guzman of Sikeston and Dora Graham of Canalou; and 39 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Sophia Martinez of Sikeston.
Two sons and two brothers preceded him in death.
Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday.
Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
